Mouflon skull
The mouflon, a wild sheep, spread from France to Lower Valais in the 1980s, where it now lives in two colonies with around 200 animals. These fascinating animals have also found their way to Graubünden, where they are now native and hunted. Particularly striking are the beautiful, curved horns of male mouflons, which adorn their skulls and contribute to their impressive appearance.
