Although cape buffalo are vegetarian, they are obviously heavy enough to attack and even kill humans. The mass of the animals and their horns should not be underestimated! In Africa, the buffalo, which kills up to 200 people every year, is also called “the black death”. On safaris, you should therefore be careful that the animals are not confined and then attack. Frequently a buffalo attack attracts other buffalo from the herd and then it becomes really dangerous.
