Human hollow skull
Fully restored, real human skull in good condition, however the teeth are not complete. The human skull (cranium) consists of about 22-30 individual bones, which are mostly held together by ossified seams, the so-called sutures. The skull is generally divided into the braincase (neurocranium) and the facial skull (viscerocranium). Its main function is to protect what is probably the most important organ in humans, the brain.
Human skulls and bones are provided to us by retired doctors, medical researchers, dentists and former university physicians.
