In developing this lifelike reproduction of a human skull, a real human skull was digitized using state-of-the-art technology and then idealized from the perspective of medical training. This means that the skull has been perfectly adapted to the anatomical ideal, all anatomical details and structures are present and correspond to the textbook. The 3-part model consists of the skull base, skull roof and lower jaw. The teeth correspond to real teeth in terms of position and gaps between teeth. The lower jaw is movably mounted and removable. The skull cap is aligned with the base of the skull using unbreakable metal pins and is held by strong magnets, so that annoying hooks are no longer necessary, no pins can break off and there is no gap between the base of the skull and the skull roof. This distinguishes the model significantly from the competition models with plastic pins or annoying metal hooks. The skull corresponds in size and proportions to an average European adult.
